NEW VISION LAUNCHING THE FUTURE

The circular 10,0000 square foot building is situated on a beautiful 3-acre waterfront property, designed with a unique Celtic Knot beam ceiling and surrounded by windows with beautiful views of the Gorge. The construction of the centre was completed at the beginning of this year, and this will be one of the first gala dinners hosted at this magnificent facility.

The sumptuous four-course dinner will be meticulously crafted by none other than Chef Menajem, a culinary master from Vancouver, and will also include a delectable vegetarian option. A bar with the finest kosher wines and liquor will be available to all guests.

We are thrilled to share the exciting news that we have selected an Honouree for the Gala Dinner to celebrate Chabad’s two decades on Vancouver Island. For most of you, this person needs no introduction:

Meet Chani Kaplan, co-founder of Chabad of Vancouver Island, director of the Ctots Childhood Education Centre, and incredible mother of twelve.

Those of you familiar with Chabad's journey here know that Chani's unwavering dedication has been the driving force behind our successes. Her tireless efforts have been the backbone of our programs, propelling us forward and inspiring us all.

It is quite characteristic of Chani to shy away from the spotlight, however, it's precisely this humility that makes her the perfect choice as Honouree of the "This is Twenty" Dinner on November 26, 2023.

Come and join us as we celebrate not only the passage of time since Chabad was established on the island, but also the integral role that Chani has played in our community's growth so far, and the unveiling of a new vision for the future!
